Yet more info on TRON: Legacy remix album.

Feb 18, 2011 12:24

There hasn't been any announcement about who else is doing the remixes for the album, but TronSoundtrack.com did update with purchasing info, which is all below the cut.

Also, the official title of the album is apparently TRON: R3CONFIGUR3D. With the 3s and everything.

Right this way... )

You can't buy the remix album separately? And it costs $50 for the remix album plus a movie everyone can buy cheaper from Amazon? Well then, everyone in the known universe will buy their DVDs from Amazon and then download the remix album for free from Rapidshare on April 5.

This would seem to be obvious, but I guess some people still don't get how the internet works. :P

Yeah, it is kind of ridiculous. For me, it's not so much that I can't get the album (I'll probably buy it off Amazon or iTunes when it comes out), it's that there's no other way to get the extra material that's exclusive to the official site without resorting to piracy.

I also got the same email, but it made it seem like the items were available for pre-order individually.

I think this is Disney's ploy to get us to pay more than we'd pay on Amazon :P

Also um...my two single issue betrayal comics don't amount to 128 pages of comic book...maybe there's something to their version...

There's a chance I'll preorder it from them and then get the CD and do something illegal with it...::whistles:: (Though I still feel like we have to support Tron Legacy so we can "buy" ourselves a sequel...)

I think a running theme on this comm is we're all trying to do the "right" thing to keep Tron going strong but this is a little ridiculous. Between the soundtrack, trips to the cinema, pre-ordering DVDs, tee-shirts and the trip to elecTRONica I've planned for my brother and I I've spent upwards of $300 alone! I'm happy to do, thank you Disney for these AWESOME bonus packs for fans, but how about access to these things individually for those who have been collecting since "day one"? I.E= those who have Betrayal, the poster, etc.

I'll admit I don't have the comic or the poster, but I would like to have access to them at an affordable price when I have the cash. Maybe because I'm a compulsive collector I don't mind saving and hunting for the things I love but I dunno, I'm rambling and I lost my point. Shutting up now.
