This hasn't been one of my better days.
I had a followup with my oncologist today. The radiologist noted a teeny tiny spot on my lung that he thinks needs to be watched. I said to my doc, are we sure that this isn't the teeny tiny spot on my lung that's been there since the very first scan I did back in '98? Bottom line: we're not. new journal layout
What possessed me to change it I don't know, but I like the new one. New colors, the purple wasn't easy on the eyes and these are soothing even if I didn't choose them myself. Or maybe because I didn't choose them...who knows.

Kitten-ectomy update
My dad got a humane trap from animal control and the kitty was eventually foiled. It's fine, just a little pissed off - apparently the enclosed back porch of my parents' house isn't nearly as much fun as the truck was, despite the free food and facilities and zillions of kitten-appropriate hidey-holes. The engine purrs...
I'm absurdly late this morning but I must share. My parents have a stray kitten living in the engine block of my father's truck. This is by choice (the kitten's, not my parents') as it is not trapped, they've been leaving food for it in the garage and it's definitely eating it and using the litterbox. I myself had a nice Christmas with family and friends. And I'm so glad it's over I can't even begin to tell ya. Christmas totally stresses me now. I'm off for the rest of the week on vacation, and tonight we have late night dinner reservations at Barton G's, the super cool restaurant we went to for my birthday.
