I'm absurdly late this morning but I must share. My parents have a stray kitten living in the engine block of my father's truck. This is by choice (the kitten's, not my parents') as it is not trapped, they've been leaving food for it in the garage and it's definitely eating it and using the litterbox. But it prefers to be in the truck and it goes whereever my father drives, we're guessing it's gone on a few 100+ mile trips at this point because there was a point in time where they only knew there was a stray kitten somewhere near the house and didn't know it was living in the truck. Jiffy Lube attempted a kitten-ectomy but no dice. Everywhere my father goes people take it upon themselves to alert him to the presence of the kitten...and sometimes to feed it. I say it has a great life: free food, travel, accommodations, etc. on it's own terms. The only bad is eventually it probably won't fit and will have to move on to an Escalade or Hummer or something.
