Giselle opened her eyes after just a blink and found herself at the front of the cafe. Right away she was compelled to greet anyone who entered, though she wasn't sure just who it was who would be coming. She looked down at herself and surveyed what she could of the maid uniform. She thought it was quite cute. For a brief moment she thought she had been working on a new summer dress for Morgan, but that thought slipped away as she went about preparing to greet any and all guests with her best and brightest smile.
It was still mid morning. Not many guests came this time of day. The lunch hour and late afternoon were so very busy, but until then, it was best to smile and pass the time, mostly with conversation.
Kasumi idly twisted a ribbon of her uniform between her fingers, asking the woman beside her, "Do you know if more tea has been ordered, Miss Giselle? It does seem we have been running low these last days..."

This was definitely the weirdest freelance job he'd ever had. Seeing the girls wondering about in outfits like that, saying the stuff they were saying, serving food and drinks that were almost sickeningly cute- it was not what he was used to. He'd never been to a maid cafe, let alone worked at one.
Maybe if someone ordered a drink he could take his mind off the disturbing surroundings.
Issei breathed in and adjusted his cat ears for the hundredth time that day.
This never got any easier. Oh, sure, he knew how to put on his frilly maid dress now, and he technically knew how to take orders from guests, but that feeling of nervousness at letting someone see him in this state was still there.
Still, it was going to be all right, he reassured himself as he stood by his table. It wasn't as if he'd have to wait on anyone he really hated or anything.

No. No, no, no, no, no. Anyone but her!
Issei was so shocked that he was still frozen stiff when she played with his ears. He managed to stammer out the basic line for greeting guests he'd learned.

Yukiko didn't much mind this job, it wasn't very different from when she had to work in the hotel back home. Although she'd never really gotten used to being in such a...frilly uniform. But she was doing her best, really! Even if she felt like someone was going to spring out and start taking pictures of her any second.
She almost missed the fact that she had a customer, and quickly hurried over when she saw the wizzened old gentleman at her table. "Good Afternoon!" She said with a large smile, her hands folded behind her back as she offered him a bow.

Dumbledore had never been to a maid cafe before, probably because such things weren't usually found in the wizarding world. That, and he really wasn't the type to seek such a place out, for a whole host of reasons.
"Hello," he said with a smile. "I believe I'd like some tea. You wouldn't happen to have jasmine tea, would you?"
Yukiko [Dumbledore!]priestessboundJuly 6 2009, 22:40:46 UTC
Yukiko had actually been rather nervous about this, but she smiled brightly as he seemed like a nice enough old man. Some of the ones that came in here...well, it didn't do well to speak of ill of people that weren't present!
"Of course we do! I think." She paused, running the list of teas through her head, and then nodded, smiling brightly. "We do. Yes. Sorry, I don't know where my mind is today. Just a moment!" And off she went, returning a few moments later with a tray of tea and little pitcher and all the various tea accessories, which she set down before him one at a time, and then carefully poured his tea, holding the pitcher in her hands as she took a step backwards.
While hanging around his table and waiting for something to do, Sawyer shifted, tugging at the frills on his uniform with a scowl. Somehow wearing this didn't feel right.

Finally, a customer and he grabbed the pencil resting behind his ear and pulled a note-pad sticking out from behind the bow at his waist free "Good evening and welcome, sir. Is there anything I can get for you?"

"Oh yes! I mentioned it the other day and more tea was ordered. I'm sure we'll receive it in the next day or so."

Ggio fairly bounced up to the counter, though he was a little breathless, and reached for a menu from the collection while he was there.
"I-I need a uh... well, my customer, he's not the tea-and-cake kind of person. Do you have any recommendations?"

"H-how may I serve you today?"
He was doomed.
