So. Paper: finished. New term: started. trinityofone: already exhausted.

But...my new History of the U.S. lecturer seems less dull than the last one, and one of my Irish Literature tutors is named Katie Brown. I make my own fun.

This weekend I made a lot of it, in spite of the paper which, quality aside, ended up being not a big deal at all, especially ( Read more... )

YES OMG. And we can bring along David Hewlett and Joe Flanigan, and they can recreate their horrid 80s hairstyles in an attempt to be as retro-emo as possible.

While I stand around in black and attempt to look nonchalant whilst posing in front of my latest masterpiece which is a photograph of a bottle of water or something. It would be an allegorical representation of my unquenchable thirst for David Hewlett, and I would call it Ceci n'est pas un bottle of water.

Perhaps I have overthought this.

Aaah! Aidan is sooooooo cute. Bass players are awesome.

Congrats on getting the paper done and starting the new term! Hopefully this one will be just as awesome. Also, "bless" is not just Irish and yeah, it is a great expression. I'm sure you wouldn't sound stupid saying it if you can get the right note of condescension in it.

I wish I could help you with the Killers album, but I had a copy which was wiped after the Great Hard Drive Meltdown of '05. The Killers wear eyeliner, so they automatically sound better.

Ooh, thank you! That is pretty and angsty. I must listen to it more-more-more to get the full Johnness. *g*

And if you have a problem, I have one too: "Strong Enough" by Sheryl Crow is still one of my favorite angsty Rodney songs.
