America is not doing well on Paralympics. Well it is not too bad but in contrast to Olympics.... I wonder what it says...even Russia is doing better than that.
Oh and happy birthday to J. Two Virgos in family...how did that happen.
And Joseph is toddling about the room on his fat little legs. Wasn't he a baby yesterday?!

C-section poll
My SIL has just had c-section for her second baby and has suffered Dural tear, but now is on the mend and hopefully she won't have long term-effects. I am really curious now how common are both short-term and long-term effects for the mother...There are effects on the baby to consider too but maybe another poll. Tell me anything obvious I haven't ( Read more... ) -

My 10 pound note fell out of pocket. A man with bloodshot eyes picked it up...and refused to hand it back to me. His eyes implied 'Now you can't prove it is yours!' I hated having to kick up a fuss but even couldn't help but tell him that I know he knows it's mine and I bet he'd feel good about stealing money and go ahead and have fun buying shitty ( Read more... )
