April 4th
Today was a big day for the kids. Today we finally got to go to the Efteling. It is a big amusement park in Holland. We got the a little bit after opening; wanted to get as much time there as possible if the kids held out. We decided to hang a left and work the park sections by section.

April 3rd
Today was a family day. We enjoyed a good breakfast of eggs for the adults and cereal for the kids. Then we headed over to Oma’s for coffee. . The kids played hard. In everything, doing everything, etc. We had a lovely apple tart to enjoy and enjoyed good conversation about a variety of topics. We stayed until we needed to leave ( Read more... ) -

April 2nd
We got a pretty good early start to the day. We got into the car for the drive to the Keukenhof. We got to drive underneath the tarmac at the airport. I love that part about Schiphol driving underneath a plane is so bizarre. It wasn’t bad but it got busy a few km out from the Keukenhof; lots of people visiting it on the weekend. April 1st
So since Saturday ended up being free we decided to take our Friday off and just hang out at Wolfsven and do a little shopping but stay away from any major driving. For breakfast we started off with some pancakes and bacon but it was not like bacon in Canada. It still fried up nice.

March 31st
So not to be rushed we planned on 12 at Madurodam with Shirley. We didn’t make bad time to Den Haag but once there almost every entrance to Madurodam there was a road block. I made it there but got skiddish and made the wrong turn for parking and ended up getting lost in a neighbourhood and not being able to find my way back. ( Read more... ) -

March 30th
So we got out earlier then we have been because I wanted to try and fit more in the day. I luckily found cough medicine at the shop so I didn’t have to make a separate stop for that. We found the kinderdijk without much problem. I thought it was going to be in the middle of the countryside but along the one side of the dyke were houses ( Read more... )
