He thinks it might be a stomach acid thing, and also mentioned 2 or 3 times that he thinks it's an ulcer. I go back in two weeks "in case it's an ulcer" he said. So there it is. He gave me some stuff to calm the acid reflux or whatever it was, so we'll see if the appetite comes back.

Though I was not so thrilled by the movie, I was really intrigued by the concept of daemons. I've heard the books are much better, and hope that they go into more detail about daemons.
