deep fried candy bar!

I went to our state fair yesterday, and finally got to eat one. I had a deep-fried Milky Way, and it was wonderful!! :D I kept my promise and took photos to share with all you lovely fried-food fans.

MN State Fair, right? How you could post on trashy_eats without mentioning the Deep Fried Cheeseburger is beyond me. ;) It was amazing. Like a Monte Cristo, but with a cheeseburger.

Yep! Deep fried....cheeseburger?! I did not see that. O_O We did however see the deep-fried Spam booth. XD

Didn't get any deep fried spam. Did have a Spamburger last year that was pretty good.

We have a deep-fried booth at our local fair, too, that does candy bars. It's the only thing of theirs I haven't tried yet! I've had the twinkie, oreos, apple rings, green beans, and pizza... and I have to get deep-fried cheese curd every year, too (which just isn't the same when the curd's not fresh - I miss Wisconsin.)

The candy bar is gonna be next year. I must have it.

I've yet to find a chippy in my area that does deep fried Mars Bars. I had one in Orkney and it was possibly the best thing I've eaten...

There's no caramel in 3 Musketeers. There is caramel in Milky Ways. :)

Ah, I checked. All over Europe & in Australia, there is no Caramel in milky ways. Its just an American thing :P

Oooh thanks for the idea - I like buying the tubs of mini Oreos so I think I will try to deep fry them next time! Sounds good!
