Adoptions yesterday were amazing. We got 5 baby kittens in and all of them were adopted (although 2 aren't going to their new homes until this afternoon), as was Scarlett! Adoptions were insane last Saturday, and not in a good way. 3 cats got adopted: the two baby kittens and Cordelia, one of the Gwinnett Co cats; and one dog: Fancy (the golden I pulled from the vacant lot). Jacquie and I began the day by trapping some adorable 5-month-old kitties that she spied at a parking lot near school. We busted out the drop-trap and had them in a matter of minutes. I picked Sasquatch up last night. He was abandoned in Amy's (one of my coworkers) driveway, in a cardboard box. While it isn't necessarily accurate to say that he is "near death," Amelia has warned me that he may not make it through the night. It really depends on whether the infection is/becomes septic. Sierra has officially been adopted, as has Sidney. There's an application out for Tic Tac, and two different Petco employeed are interested in Ariel, which is cool because if the second one adopts her then the first can get Cricket and then two wonderful cats can have new homes.
