stuff
Adoptions yesterday were amazing. We got 5 baby kittens in and all of them were adopted (although 2 aren't going to their new homes until this afternoon), as was Scarlett! Several dogs got adopted too, including Hollie who is doing a home trial with a new family this week. At first I was excited about that, but then my mom (who's been fostering Hollie for us) told us that she was thinking about keeping her. That would have been really cool, b/c we still could have gotten to see her a lot. I love Hollie =/.
A guy applied for Lacy and is going to call me later this week so his son can meet her before finalizing the adoption. He seemed nice, but I had a funny feeling about him... I think I'm just paranoid though.
As for trapping, we only got one cat last week, a black bobtail at Happy China. He had a flea collar, but I think he was dumped - he's in pretty sorry shape. He has a URI and was too sick to get neutered, and he has these large half-dollar-sized wounds behind each of his ears from scratching. I have to give him amoxi drops twice a day and put antiseptic on the wounds every other day, and he hates it. Otherwise he's very sweet. Poor kitty =(.
I'm going trapping in midtown today to try to get some cats that are living on an elderly lady's porch. I hope this will prove to be an easy project. Then later in the week I'm going trapping with Katy on some project of hers. I need to get to steppin' on the cat trapping - it is kitten season, after all.
