||Mission complete,|| Stacy's voice rang out through the ship. ||Obs deck returning.||

The mission was a success, and so the away team returned, and the Obs Deck was back in it's proper place.

But, this time, they came back with a few more visitors.

Among the returning crew members stood three strange aliens. There was the ever-dour Revus Lod, ( Read more... )

Leon stepped forward, one of the first to greet them.

"Welcome aboard, Lensmen. I'm Captain Leon S. Kennedy, the Commander of this crew."

Samus, the silent giant, wasn't far behind. She makes her presence known, but doesn't immediately introduce herself. She just likes to know everything that's going on likes to make sure everything runs smoothly while she's around.

"Commander Rahk," said the massive snakeman, looking around the room. "No Daligig or GIA crew members. Much like the others."

He looks back at the two standing in front of him.

"What's your current situation?"

Leon had to resist the urge to tell them exactly what their situation was. But, right now, he'd at least try the friendly approach. This was their first opportunity to get some answers.

"We've secured the ship, but Stacy's core AI, while operable, took some serious damage. We've also only had very limited communication with the Daligig, and there wasn't a lot of information left behind for us to go on.

"There are a number of questions we need answers to."

She was happy enough that she had taken part in the fight without getting a scratch: those firebugs had looked fairly vicious and would probably have smoked all of them. In any case, these new arrivals needed to be at least brought up to date with what was going on with the ship. she was happy that the council would be able to take a part of that. For her part, she would at least be hospitable.

"The crew are a varied people, but they're all here for the same reason, however strange they might seem to you. Just treat them with respect, and they'll do the same...mostly."

She couldn't speak of all of them. They were bound to be suspicious of the new visitors.

"Welcome to Stacy."

"The Transmigration 9, you mean," Revus corrected her. "It's a ship, not a person."

"Be nice, Revus," Ippli said. "Even some AIs have feelings too."

Katara blinked, but didn't look any less friendly, just a little more stubborn about it. "You can call it what you like, of course, but to me its Stacy. If you'd been here as long as we have, you would know why."

And after things like the Punishment and Stacy's breakdown after that, she believed it all the more.

"But I also have some questions too, for the benefit of the crew and the people I help. You guys...where are you from, and how have you come to fight against the Ohm? I feel like our first introduction was sort of hurried."

Dhianeila had felt the sensations of the occurrences happening down on Arkez, thankful that the hostility and threats had dissipated quickly enough. The presence of these three new beings on the ship triggered her instinct she was raised to present to any newcomers, so her projection appeared on the Obs Deck and she kindly bowed before the Lensmen.

"Greetings, and welcome aboard," she began, meeting each of their eyes with her own, keeping her smile warm and welcoming.

"I like this one!" Ippli said excitedly. "She seems nice."

Revus rolled his eyes with a sigh, while Commander Rahk gave her a polite nod.

"Greetings," the Commander said.

Her smile twitched a bit as she held back a bit of laughter at Ippli's remark. But at least they seemed friendly enough, it was refreshing to have visitors that seemed to mean no harm after all she'd heard since waking up. She didn't seem fazed at all in their presence, either - she was too used to meeting other beings across the universe that looked even stranger than them. Her brothers looked down on her, but in reality her diplomacy toward others had in the end helped them far more than they could have imagined. New faces were great to see for her.

"You seem very nice, as well," he answered. "My name is Dhianeila Y Leisha Altoria Ol Yunos. I no longer feel the threat of the Ohm down on the planet, but all the same, I hope you ran into no problems when dealing with them."

"Not really," Rahk replied. "It was a small force, and your crew softened them up for us."

Revus seemed particularly annoyed at that last fact.

After leaving the tavern in Kaylee's care, Kang made his way to the Obs Deck. Possible allies, or something else altogether? The moment he saw the new arrivals, he was already scrutinizing them, trying to learn as much as he could from their body language.

Interesting. Best to let the Captain handle it for now, since they were obviously military. He could wait until he was introduced.

The younger two Lensmen were easier to read. Revus was agitated to have to be here, and wasn't particularly fond of anyone here. Ippli was quite obviously excited and energetic.

Commander Rahk, however, was more inscrutable. He stood quietly, keeping still most of the time unless necessary.

After a while though, the Commander noticed Kang standing there, and walked over.

"Oh, sorry," he said simply. "For a moment you looked like someone from my world. Didn't notice the wings."

Kang tilted his head to one side slightly, unfazed by the height of the alien, "There does seem to be a little bit of a resemblance. I am Kang, one of the nine Council Members aboard the Transmigration Nine." He held out his hand in greeting.

Luis was a bit disappointed by the fact that the visitors were not beautiful women. Still, he was determined to impress them.

Though, since they were fascinating aliens, Luis still found himself having to avoid staring too much. "Mucho gusto, amigos. Dr. Luis Sera, Chief Science Officer aboard the ship."

"What did you just call me?" Revus says in an annoyed tone.

"Quiet, Revus," Rahk said to his subordinate. "I'm Commander Rahk of the Lensmen. These are Revus and Ippli."

Okay, note to self, don't speak Spanish to aliens. "Nothing bad, I promise!" he insisted. "So, ah... what brings you to our humble little corner of paradise?"

"We were patrolling the area when we heard reports of Ohm activity on Arkez," Revus said, "When we arrived, we found your group in combat with them."

"And I wanted to take a look at your current situation," Rahk added. "This is one of the few Transmigration ships to be found again, so it's important it's in fighting shape."
