Inara paused as she came upon the man who had just finished his tirade directed toward one to the ship's walls. She looked around slowly and for a moment couldn't help but wonder if the whole ship's population was crazy.

She smiled though, tilting her head a bit to the side. "Now what did that wall ever do to you?"

Gambit had to do a double take when he glanced over to find the source of the feminine voice that had interrupted his spat with the ship. He didn't remember the view on the ship being this good.

"It ain't de wall, cher, it what behind de wall dat Gambit have a problem wit," he answered, turning and slowly sauntering over to the stunning woman before him. "Don't believe I had de pleasure," he said, offering her a wide, appreciative smile along with his hand. "I'm Remy LeBeau, tief. Who you be?"

"Well I don't think what's ever behind the wall is paying you much mind," she teased good naturally.

"I'm a rather new arrival," Inara informed Remy before reaching out and taking his hand within her own. "I'm Inara Sera. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"De pleasure is mine, mon cher," he replied, taking her hand and placing a soft kiss upon it, his blazing red eyes staring up at her as he did. "You must be new, I know if I seen you around here before."

Katara had been walking down the halls, perfectly content in her own thoughts when she heard the noticeable accent that she'd heard before. She'd thought he'd disappeared, but it looked as if he were back, and it actually made her a little happy to see friends she'd thought were gone.

"Gambit!" She lost no time giving the Cajun a quick hug. "You're still here! Where've you been?"

He let out a slight 'oof' sound as Katara threw her arms around him and squeezed the breath from his lungs with her sudden hug. "Oui, petite," he said with a chuckle, returning the brief hug before the girl pulled away again. "I still here. Gambit like gators in de bayou, you may not always see me, but I always dere."

Katara giggled. She was slight amused by the fact that even with adults, a hug was something none of them were really ever used to. The women were a little more receptive, but men were certainly awkward around it.

She had no idea what a Bayou was, but she would make sure to put that on her "need to learn" words.

"It's good to see you Gambit! What have you been up to?"

"Noting exciting, Katara. Just jumping through hoops for some cake. But dat computer lady, she play Gambit for de fool. She didn't give it to me," he explained--albeit in his own little way. "But dat ok. We just see if I ask her to dance again?"

Bobby came around the corner and snorted as he listened to the voice. That accent was music to his ears. He laughed and clapped a bit as he moved into view of the Cajun.

"That's telling 'em LeBeau. I'm sure they're right scared of you know." He wasn't going to go up and hug this guy. Even if he was glad to see Remy, he wasn't going to hug another X-Man... well unless Warren or Scott got here.

There wasn't a hint of recognition in Gambit's expression when he turned to see who had decided to join him in the corridor. From the world where Remy came from, he'd only met Bobby Drake once. While he was a former X-man, Iceman was before Gambit's time, having left long before the Cajun had joined the team. So, while there was definitely something familiar about the laughing man before him, it was hardly enough for Remy to recall a name that went with the face.

"Do I know you, homme?" Gambit asked suspiciously.

Bobby sighed, well that wasn't completely unexpected. But it still kinda hurt a bit. "Name's Bobby Drake. Iceman. I'm a... well I'm a friend of Rogue's. If you even know her." He didn't know who the Cajun would know at this point. He hated time travel, alternate universes, and all that jazz.

"Dat right?" Gambit looked upon the man suspiciously. A friend of Rogue's? A guy from her past that Gambit didn't know about? It was totally possible since Rogue tended to play her cards as closed to the chest as Gambit did. "And jus' what kinda friend are you?"

There were large, brown eyes staring up at him. She excitedly shifted her small weight from foot to foot. Mister Gambit was back!

"Did she get you too?" Yuri asked, both concerned and relieved.
