Bobby came around the corner and snorted as he listened to the voice. That accent was music to his ears. He laughed and clapped a bit as he moved into view of the Cajun.

"That's telling 'em LeBeau. I'm sure they're right scared of you know." He wasn't going to go up and hug this guy. Even if he was glad to see Remy, he wasn't going to hug another X-Man... well unless Warren or Scott got here.

There wasn't a hint of recognition in Gambit's expression when he turned to see who had decided to join him in the corridor. From the world where Remy came from, he'd only met Bobby Drake once. While he was a former X-man, Iceman was before Gambit's time, having left long before the Cajun had joined the team. So, while there was definitely something familiar about the laughing man before him, it was hardly enough for Remy to recall a name that went with the face.

"Do I know you, homme?" Gambit asked suspiciously.

Bobby sighed, well that wasn't completely unexpected. But it still kinda hurt a bit. "Name's Bobby Drake. Iceman. I'm a... well I'm a friend of Rogue's. If you even know her." He didn't know who the Cajun would know at this point. He hated time travel, alternate universes, and all that jazz.

"Dat right?" Gambit looked upon the man suspiciously. A friend of Rogue's? A guy from her past that Gambit didn't know about? It was totally possible since Rogue tended to play her cards as closed to the chest as Gambit did. "And jus' what kinda friend are you?"

"Brother type friend." He smiled a bit and laughed. "I've known her for a long time. We were X-Men together, and basically just been there for each other. Never romantically, if that's what you're worried about." He shook his head. "Fact is, I think she's more in love with you, then any women ever should be."

"What dat supposed to mean?" Remy asked, frowning at the, in his world, former-X-man for what the Cajun perceived as a slight character jab. "You sayin' dere someting wrong with Gambit?"

Bobby snorted and shook his head. "Nah. You're a cool guy LeBeau. I'm just teasing ya." He didn't want to get into a fight with anyone on the ship. Especially so short a time after his arrival. Plus, if Rogue ever found out, she'd beat his ass.

Gambit was silent for several moments before finally nodding, accepting the explanation, and moving to head down the corridor away from the spot in the wall where he'd just been ejected--without cake--by the troublesome AI known as GLaDOS. Staying offended was pointless, especially since the Cajun wasn't exactly unknown for sticking his foot in his mouth, too.

"So, when you get here, mon ami?" he asked, glancing over his shoulder at the other 'X-man'. "Don't tink I remember you bein' here before...."

"Had to be just yesterday. Or a few hours ago, kinda bad at keeping track on a good day. So all this is kinda making me lost." He laughed and followed after the Cajun. At least he had one of the other X-Men here, not just the kids.

"Well, you best get comfy den, Iceman," Gambit answered, emphasizing Bobby's codename as he continued to lead him down the corridor. "'Cause de way ting's is going 'round here, you ain't gonna be going no where soon."
