Team Whiskey-- you'll want a lot of it (Bendy time to before Holiday Plot)

Kawalsky stood inspecting the setting the Sensorium had pulled up. At first, he had Stacy display the base where he'd gone through basic training but then he thought that, given his team, that wouldn't be the best course. In the end, he settled on an indoor track with weight lifting machines and bars for pull ups in the middle ( Read more... )

It was a sigh of relief to wake up and not watch her skin turn red and ugly with tattoos. There was no horrible, constant pain when she moved, either. In short, Miku felt the best that she had in weeks. Her color (what little of it there was) returned, and she simply looked better than she had weeks ago.

Still, just because she looked better didn't mean she had a soldier's body. Miku was civilian looking to a fault. She was still thinner, less toned, and generally lighter than the rest of the people she remembered. Miku stepped into the Sensorium and shifted on her feet. "Ah... You called?" she asked softly.

Kawalsky smiled. "That's right. Thanks for coming. And don't worry, I won't make you do all this." He said, waving to the track. "But I need to see how strong everyone is, any special abilities, stuff like that. Need to know our strengths and weaknesses if we're going to work as a team."

Miku smiled back, though it was somewhat reserved. "Oh good..." she breathed. "I'm not... not very good at things like that." As if it weren't already obvious. How she ever managed to pass physical education in school was still a mystery to her.

Still, she bowed, "But I'll do my best."

"We can work on that. You know, just in case zombies attacked again." He said, joking. At least, he hoped it was just a joke. He really didn't want to run into more zombies.

Raiden didn't like the summons. He just didn't do teams. And the 'don't make me track you down' hadn't done much to up his estimation of the leader of Team Whiskey. Not in the least. As it was he slid easily into the Sensorium avoiding notice, true to his nature, while the Major was busy talking to the girl. He hadn't been able to place the name, but he once he saw the man's face, his eyes narrowed. He would have known him anywhere. He'd put that sanctimonious prick back during the podpop in his place. Hmm. Interesting. He knew the girl's face too, though she was clean now, and dressed in one of the podsuits as well. He didn't know her name though. But Kawalsky was the one who'd called them here, she was a civilian ( ... )

Kawalsky had noticed the door open and thought he saw something flit by but couldn't keep track.

Great, just what he needed. "Stop showing off." He said loudly.

"That wasn't showing off." His voice seemed to come from everywhere at once, making it almost impossible to find what direction he was in. It was either the acoustics of the room, or something the man had picked up in his travels. Either way, it would probably be damn frustrating.

Dropping silently to the floor, he pulled a knife and pressed the tip just lightly against the space between the man's third and fourth Thoracic Vertebrae. One quick push inward and the man's spinal column would be severed instantly. "This is showing off."

Kawalsky bit down on his tongue to keep himself from snapping. He also had to stop himself from whirling around and start beating Raiden. "This is also pissing me off. So do you want me to have Stacy pull up a death trap and see how well you run it for 24 hours straight or do you want to stop acting like a jackass?"

Kazuya sauntered in - late as Hell, but intentionally so - and leaned on a wall as he watched the goings on. He wore a disinterested smirk that conveyed perfectly the only reason he had shown up; he was bored, and watching the rest of his 'team' do this would prove entertaining at least.

"You!" Kawalsky snapped in his 'take no shit, follow my command' voice. "Over here. If you're so cocky then show me what you got. Give me a list of your abilities and training." And then we'll see if you can back it up.

Kazuya rolled his eyes as he walked over to Kawalsky. His red eye glowed softly as he addressed the military man. It was obvious that Kazuya saw himself as above such things, but wanted to make another point painfully clear.

"Let's get one thing straight," he said in a tone low enough that only himself and Kawalsky would be able to hear. "You do not order me. I take orders from nobody. Not you, not this so called 'command staff', not the damn ship. I shape my own destiny. As for training, I taught myself everything I need to know. You don't need to know anything else about me."

Kawalsky tried not to roll his eyes too obviously. No wait, he didn't.

"Tell that to Stacy. If you don't want to show me what you've got I guess that means you're hiding the fact that you're just another pussy."

Unfortunately for Kawalsky, Gandrayda wasn't a shinning example of perfect teamwork nor the type to follow the leaders unless they hadn't proven themselves. And even then, it was still sketchy.

She stepped in and looked around, smirking. The whole place had tension that could be cut with a knife.

"Did I come in at a bad time?"

"Well, you came in at a time later than I specified, so yes. You did come at a bad time." After dealing with these people, saying that Kawalsky was cranky was an understatement.

"That's a shame," she replied, pretending to look at her nails with interest. "I'm going to assume you're the one STA'C K'LTRRB'TXFT picked as our team leader." She coughed.

"That's two for two, where'd you go to school, Harvard? So tell me, Gandrayda," See, he did know a little about his team. "What is it you do?"
