Team Whiskey-- you'll want a lot of it (Bendy time to before Holiday Plot)

Kawalsky stood inspecting the setting the Sensorium had pulled up. At first, he had Stacy display the base where he'd gone through basic training but then he thought that, given his team, that wouldn't be the best course. In the end, he settled on an indoor track with weight lifting machines and bars for pull ups in the middle ( Read more... )

Raiden didn't like the summons. He just didn't do teams. And the 'don't make me track you down' hadn't done much to up his estimation of the leader of Team Whiskey. Not in the least. As it was he slid easily into the Sensorium avoiding notice, true to his nature, while the Major was busy talking to the girl. He hadn't been able to place the name, but he once he saw the man's face, his eyes narrowed. He would have known him anywhere. He'd put that sanctimonious prick back during the podpop in his place. Hmm. Interesting. He knew the girl's face too, though she was clean now, and dressed in one of the podsuits as well. He didn't know her name though. But Kawalsky was the one who'd called them here, she was a civilian.

Skirting the light as much as possible, he moved faster once he was out of the man's line of sight, flitting between the tall equipment before leaping up and easily catching one of the chin up bars and pulling himself up onto it in a seated position. His weapons barely made a sound against his armor, the only sign that he was there being the telltale whisper of movement that most went their whole lives unable to detect.

He didn't speak. Simply sat and watched. Maybe the girl would see him. If she looked up. But Kawalsky probably wouldn't unless he turned around. And he would keep it that way as long as possible, show the little Major just what he thought of his rank.

Kawalsky had noticed the door open and thought he saw something flit by but couldn't keep track.

Great, just what he needed. "Stop showing off." He said loudly.

"That wasn't showing off." His voice seemed to come from everywhere at once, making it almost impossible to find what direction he was in. It was either the acoustics of the room, or something the man had picked up in his travels. Either way, it would probably be damn frustrating.

Dropping silently to the floor, he pulled a knife and pressed the tip just lightly against the space between the man's third and fourth Thoracic Vertebrae. One quick push inward and the man's spinal column would be severed instantly. "This is showing off."

Kawalsky bit down on his tongue to keep himself from snapping. He also had to stop himself from whirling around and start beating Raiden. "This is also pissing me off. So do you want me to have Stacy pull up a death trap and see how well you run it for 24 hours straight or do you want to stop acting like a jackass?"

The blade pushed inward just hard enough to hurt, but not hard enough to do any damage, before he pulled it away and sheathed it. He wasn't obeying, no. Not that easily. Instead, he called up a chair and dropped back into it easily, crossing his arms and staring at the Major.

"You aren't making a very good first impression on your team member, o high and mighty squad leader."

"Look who's talking. You don't have to like me, you just have to do what I tell you when the bullets are flying. Oh, Stacy, get rid of that chair. No slouching off."
