While those still up on the roofs might have managed to take out some of the oncoming zombies, the sheer number of them means that a good number are still getting through.
Even worse, some of the more agile zombies have begun trying to climb up the walls in their search for fresh meat.
You guys might wanna take them out before they get to the top.
Nathan had been running back and forth, but he was also armed with a shotgun. Came in handy for aerial attacks, like right now. Getting harder to get headshots with some of these angles.
"Keep firing, and shove them away." Don't need their additional deadweight causing a strain to the roof.
He flew around, checking ammo supplies, and was going to grab some more for these troops.

"Yeah, good idea!" Robert let up his machine gun fireunable to depress the weapon enough to fire at the climbers. He grabbed up his rifle and opened fire at the climbing zombies, sending a few falling to the plaza below. He paused a moment, then pulled the pins on a pair of grenades, rolling them off the edge in the hopes they might take a few more out.
Re: The Roofssmegging_hellNovember 2 2009, 14:47:12 UTC
Robert wasn't the only one using grenades. A few feet further down, his bazookoid lying beside him, Lister is dropping grenades down onto some of the dead in his section.
By the sounds of it, he's also awarding himself points for each kill, and as he drops a grenade which manages to land in the open mouth of one of the dead, he gives himself a little cheer.
A climber pokes its decaying head up, and Lister gives what might be described as a girly shriek, before booting it in the face on sheer reflex. There is a crack, and the grasping hands go limp, before the climber slithers back off the roof, and judging by the thump, takes another with it.
"Can't be kicking all of them, any advice?" he asks anyone who happens to be listening.

The zombies have made it to the windows, and are now clawing at the boards separating them from those inside.
They're also moving in towards the doors in larger numbers, seeing that a few of the crew have taken to fighting right outside, hoping for an easier meal than the ones inside.
Re: The Vestibulecaptain_jtkNovember 1 2009, 21:14:07 UTC
Kirk isn't precisely in the vestibule. He's deeper inside, trying to coordinate as best he can. Everything is a whirl of confusion and he's moving from place to place, trying to make it more of an organized chaos then just "chaos".
If people want to talk to him, they can find him here.

"KIRK! Captain Kirk!" Loren was out of breath but she kept running as fast as she could. "The back door in the Sacristy is almost down. They need someone to seal it off before the zombies break in."
Chapel of the Column/MedbaymorewildcherryOctober 31 2009, 03:55:22 UTC
"DON'T forget to check their eyes," Lois barks, stripping off a pair of gloves and turning them inside-out in the process, keeping whoever's blood inside.

"There's no point," huffs the woman that was brought to them, from her cot. They were told there'd been a podpop. She'd come running in, warning them of all this, and escorted to the MedBay.
Luckily, there'd been no bites on her, but her heart couldn't really take it very well, all that running, all that fear.
Roxie is- distracted, one foot tremble-tapping as she glances from the old woman to Lois to the entrance to their little area that Yuri's tentahat has fenced in.
She's frowning, too. Not just her usual flat expression, but an actual frown.

Gauron is definitely noticing their supply of ammunition shrinking; they can hold out for a while yet, but he's seriously considering whether the time to suggest relocating to a more defensible area might not be coming soon, while there are still comparatively few wounded and the ammo supply will last more than long enough to get them there. It'll probably mean abandoning a lot of the food supplies if they do, and there's bound to be complaining about that - and about destroying anything they can't take with them that any of the zombies, or whatever might be coming behind them, would probably be able to utilize - but in a situation like this, the priority is holding onto as much of their water and munitions as possible.
Re: Right Transept/MunitionsredheadcarrierNovember 2 2009, 16:30:38 UTC
Asuka hates this. She really hate this. She feels horrendously useless, sitting here, surrounded by stacks of supplies with a pistol in her lap. She shouldn't be here. She should be in her Eva or doing something that doesn't require her to sit and wait while others so all the fighting. She's also afraid, but she certainly doesn't want to admit that to anyone. She glances over at Guaron, then back at the floor, making a soft "harumph" noise, "...this is stupid."

Having finished the latest round of food delivery, Lafiel rounds the corner into the other transept. Selecting from among the stacks of clips, she slaps one into her klanyu and assesses them with a glance (and incidentally the pissed off looking redhead in the corner).
"It's not going to last." Not a worried statement but a factual one.

While it might seem crazy to think about food at a time like this, there's always the possibility that this battle could keep going for a long, looooong time.
Best make sure everyone's eaten, so they don't start to lose focus over something like hunger.

Hopefully it will last them long enough to survive.
