First teaser for Zack Snyder's (Watchmen, 300) latest wet dream, for the first time based on something he has thought of himself. Well, sort of. It's an action movie described by Snyder as "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns", set in the 1950s. It follows Babydoll (Emily Browning) who is confined to a mental institution by her stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality with "dragons, B-52 bombers and brothels" to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man. Other dolls appearing in the movie are Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone and Carla Gugino. Also part of the cast are Jon Hamm, Scott Glenn and Oscar Isaac.

Let Me In     HD480p 44MB   HD720p 111MB    UK 9MB
Trailer for the US remake of the Swedish coming-of-age horror movie Let the Right One In directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield). Twelve-year old Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee) is viciously bullied by his classmates and neglected by his divorcing parents. Achingly lonely, he spends his days plotting revenge on his middle school tormentors and his evenings spying on the other inhabitants of his apartment complex. His only friend is his new neighbour (Chloe Moretz), an eerily self-possessed young girl who lives next door with her silent father (Richard Jenkins). A frail, troubled child about Owens's age, she emerges from her heavily curtained apartment only at night and always barefoot, seemingly immune to the bitter winter elements.
I haven't seen the original but various commentators mention that the trailer looks very faithful. You can choose between the US version and the shorter, more violent UK trailer.

Monsters     8 MB
First trailer for this close-to-no-budget sci-fi movie that got some very good reviews from festivals, some of them drawing partial parallels to District 9. Official summary reads: Six years ago previously, a NASA probe returning to earth with samples of an alien life form, crashed over Central America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear, and half of Mexico was quarantined as an Infected Zone. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain "the creatures"... The story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.
Trailer apparently insofar misleading at the end as it's not really a horror movie. Which I'd consider a good thing.

Soul Kitchen     22 MB   Online HD
US trailer for Fatih Akin's (The Edge of Heaven, Head-On) latest movie which is a light movie about food, music and living in Hamburg, Germany. Zinos runs Soul Kitchen, a vast warehouse diner where the food might be spectacularly bad, but it's edible. Regulars show up every day to chow down on bland lumps of carbs washed down by cheap beer. Beats sitting at home. He seems to have a knack for bad luck, but he's used to it. His girlfriend flies off to China for an extended stay. His brother (Moritz Bleibtreu) finally gets out of jail and drags all of Hamburg's trouble into the restaurant. Then the sour-faced tax collector shows up. What would happen if Zinos went looking for the city's biggest rock-star chef (Birol Ünel from Head-On) in a bid to save his restaurant and shake things up?
The previously posted voice-over-free UK trailer that for some reason apparently isn't good enough for US viewers.

Megamind     HD480p 76MB   HD720p 186MB
Four minute extended trailer for this animated movie. When super villain Megamind (Will Ferrell) defeats his archrival Metro Man (Brad Pitt), the world should be his oyster. But instead, Megamind falls into total despair. It turns out that life without a rival is life without a point for him. So, he creates a new superhero rival (Jonah Hill). Unfortunately, the new hero wants to be a super villain, too. Caught in the middle, star reporter Roxanne Ritchi (Tina Fey) who asks the tough questions. Directed by Tom McGrath (the two Madagascar movies).

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides     12 MB
Captain Jack Sparrow's greetings for Comic-Con visitors over the weekend, offering free booze "on the mouse". Fourth movie will be in theatres next May.
