I mowed both front and backyard lawns today. Perspiration rained from my head even though I'd wrapped old t-shirt strips around my forehead for sweatbands. A few minutes after I'd finished mowing we had a big thunder storm that scared my dog Ginger ( Read more... )

And you are sounding very positive ! Wishing you good crops, tomatoes, flowers. You deserve it ! 1996 sounds interesting. You can draw courage from it.

thank you. I don't feel so positive, unfortunately. But as the saying goes, sometimes you just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

I planted more pansy seeds today, and some old marigold seeds (don't know if they'll even grow).

I have just spoken to a liver cancer sufferer who has been cancer free for 4 years now. He's a friend of my husband, and we have only just heard that he HAD cancer. He kept out of the limelight when it was all happening so to speak. We have only just traced him again. He is 78 and going strong.
I though you might want to know this.

Turmeric/curcumin is one of the first herbal anti-cancer agents I read about once I started researching my cancer online. I do take a curcumin capsule daily. I've also taken a combo of curcumin with resveratrol and some other ingredients. Thanks, it's very thoughtful of you for mentioning this to me. :)
