Summertime
I mowed both front and backyard lawns today. Perspiration rained from my head even though I'd wrapped old t-shirt strips around my forehead for sweatbands. A few minutes after I'd finished mowing we had a big thunder storm that scared my dog Ginger.
My three tomato plants are looking healthy, although not very tall. My pansies in a pot are blooming. I want to plant more pansy seeds - I still have tons left after last year's crop.
I'm reading a book titled 1996 by Gloria Naylor. The author's experiences are similar to my own so the story is especially fascinating and horrifying to me.
