Update on the Big C Thing

I still haven't had my operation, but I will soon.  Since I'm the main caretaker of our two dogs, they'll be boarded at a kennel for about a week while I'm recuperating.  They've never been away from their human family since they were 13 weeks old, and I'm going to worry about them.  My dog, Ginger, is especially super sensitive and she's going to

Thanks, Yvonne! I know, there is even an EBSQ "Think Pink" show that one can enter. Unfortunately, my painting isn't very pink, so it wouldn't really qualify.

Thanks, Aarti! I'll miss our little dogs, but it's necessary for me to have a break. I do agree that painting my feelings is therapeutic and I shouldn't forget that. I shall forge ahead with my painting. :)

Its such a frightening thing to contend with, anything you can do to process your feelings and experience I think will be helpful. Looking forward to seeing your painting

Thank you, tricia. It's true that paintings, like journals, can really help one deal with reality. I'll probably be posting my painting some time after the operation as right now I have so many appointments to go to. In a strange way it's a little like my bunny rabbit with egg painting that you liked.
