Poor Kurt, I could feel my eyes watering like a big old cry baby. I loved your Santana and Brittany, they were adorable and so completely right it wasn't even funny. Also is it bad that I want Mike, Matt, Kurt, Santana, and Brittany to be super friends in the show?

Yes, I am a increasingly like/need to have Santana defend Kurt. In my head once he became a cheerio he was "hers" in a manner of speaking and therefore, off limits. Plus, it's a good point, that is a super shitty thing to do to someone you care about.

I adored your take on the "Kurt's birthday is forgotten" idea--especially because the injury-flavored birthday cake was iced with a healthy dose of insult.
I like that Kurt is upset not just because of his birthday, but because of what that (forgotten) day is symptomatic of: feeling steadily pushed out of people's lives. He (you) put it best when he referred to himself as an afterthought. The show's touched on his feeling like an afterthought in the blended Hudmel household, but it's never addressed the Mercedes/Quinn dynamic--and I wish it would. Your take was believable and sad.
That being said, I love how he found support from unexpected quarters. Matt actually spoke up in his defense. And Santana? Well, I may love your Santana just a bit.
That sounds like a pretty terrible birthday cake flavor...like a jellybean that tastes like broken computer...or defeat...well I'm done with those. (Sorry, I was watching a very potter sequel earlier)
