One Day Workweek

Do you have a K & W in Charlotte? I like that place.

Yes, there is a K & W really close by. That's probably where we'll go.

I don't get this at all.... mhael November 27 2008, 16:57:33 UTC
Occasionally, Tribble or Myrdrral would sneak out onto the back porch when the weather was nice and the back door got left open. They might be out there for hours at a time before I noticed (especially Tribble, since I never see her INside the house). But each time I walked to the back porch, they'd be waiting to get back in.

It sucks Sandy hasn't come back yet, but what I don't get is just that: why she hasn't come back to the house, where her food, water, and most especially, her family are. Any ideas on what her deal is? It might help to figure out how to get her back in...

My mom says that it doesn't take cats long to get wild once they're outside. She told me about a cat they had when I was a little kid who was outside in a snowstorm, and he got trapped under a neighbor's porch. Once they dug through the snow and ice to get him, my mom thought he'd be happy to be "rescued" but instead he was growling and hissing at them, and when they brought him inside it took him awhile to get used to being home again.
