One Day Workweek
My one day work week is almost over. I could get used to this! Over half the office took the day off, and most people who were here earlier have already left for the day. My cold is still hanging on. I am taking a decongestant, but when I get home I'll switch back to the other cold medicine that isn't the "non-drowsy formula."
We ended up not making any plans for Thanksgiving, so we may just do something super-casual, like a cafeteria meal. I am sort of craving turkey and stuffing and all the typical foods, so I still want to eat somewhere. But last night we watched the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving show, and that had me craving buttered toast! We didn't have any bread, though. Otherwise, it will probably be just a nice, relaxing long weekend. Maybe do some shopping, not at 5AM...we did that last year, but at a more reasonable hour. So far all we've bought for our "adopted" kids is 2 board games- Candyland and Sorry.
It would be really nice if Sandy comes home over the weekend. I haven't even seen her in days. We used to see her sitting out on the grass near the storm drain, or a couple times she was in front of the house when I got home from work. Lately, we haven't caught a glimpse of her anywhere.
