first good thunderstorm i've seen in a while yesterday. i soaked up the rain out in the willow lawn parking lot until the lightning strikes got too close for comfort and i took refuge in my car.

im nuking the last of yeasterday's coffee. i just cant stand to keep tossing out the 1 or 2 cups that always seem to be left in the pot at the end of the day, and i don't even drink coffee every day anymore (not since albert's class) but it just feels like such a waste every time i pour the day old brew down the drain. today i slept in quite late. what i really want to know right now is who the fuck discovered that egg whites could be whipped into "stiff peaks?" who on earth thought to themselves "hey i think i might just crack open this here pile of eggs, scoop out the yolk and beat whats left for the next 30 minutes or so" ??!!
