When Bella opened her eyes the first thing she became aware of was how easy it was to see. She had seen before, but this felt different. It had taken Bella awhile to stop her tears, embarrassed as she was by them, and touch up the blood and wound on her arm from where she'd collided with the floor and the door frame. Bella had to admit she was sleeping a little better. A lot better, if she was being completely honest with herself.
