She was in the bathroom now and he used the yellow-orange triangle of light to chase the words across the page, experimenting with altered grammatical structures.

Bella was out of the shower, her hair damp and drying on her shoulders, and when she heard Edward calling she smiled a little to herself. "I'll be right out," she said, "I'm almost finished in here."
Just shaving now. Part of being a girl, of course. And she'd just finished when the razor slipped from her hand as she was putting it back on the shelf in the cabinet.
Bella hissed a sound of pain but bit hard on her lower lip to keep it quiet. She didn't want Edward to hear or worry. It was nothing she couldn't handle with a little water.

He was quick to come into the bathroom, eyes going dark as he saw the rivulets of blood.
"Ah...Bella," he murmured, clenching his fists.
