The bookstore had Fifty Shades of Grey. I just had to take a peek. Tumblr readings and opinions of that book has given me many moments of laughter. Scouring the shelves, I managed to leave with the complete Sherlock Holmes so yay, some more reading material.

I looove it. It's paced and formatted really nicely and easily so you can go through it pretty quick. The narrator choice adds a wonderful aspect to the experience. The story itself is sad and sweet (a gross understatement but I can't find my words). A recommended book, definitely.

I loved it. It is one of my favorite books of that time period - I've read a lot and it's getting hard to even deal with it any more. But that one is one I'd recommend to almost anyone.

I find it weird that I was close to buy that book yesterday and here I am reading your entry and you mention it. Lol. Just a little funny :D

But I was wanting to read it because one of my other LJ friends mentioned that is actually pretty good while also being a bit annoying. As long as the little things do not bother you, you actually get to like the book, I guess.

“He tongued at my chocolate starfish before thrusting three fingers between my quivering butt cheeks and wiggling his fingers around like he was searching for something he dropped inside of my ass.” Seriously, I can't not laugh at that.

But I'm being unfair :P Actually if it was a fanfic, which it started out as, I would be okay with it.. somewhat. But when it's a published book, I do hold them to different standards. The fact that I've read better fanfiction and this is the story that's making money..
