I did not realize QUITE how difficult it would be to get a job. Dammit economy and my lack of marketable skills.

Goddammit. Things are not doing well. I applied for some Americorps positions (one that I really, really wanted through the Center for Humanities) hoping that this would justify being rejected from grad schools as a great opportunity. I need this semester to be over soon (which it actually will be, ACK!). While I am shocked by how quickly time is passing, I also am getting really worn out. I just need a few weeks to sleep.

Since everyone else is doing it: I've finally signed up for classes for the last semester of my time at UW. Now I just need to get an exception form in so one counts toward Linguistics, and sign up for the second semester of my thesis.
