He straightened, turning his back to her. "I will be having a discussion with every soldier in this barracks so that we all understand this. The next person who thinks they are able to check out of the Brotherhood of Mutants like it is a bloody damned hotel will think twice about that, I assure you."
He turned back towards Rogue. "There. That was my turn. Now, yours."

She tried hard not to fidget, not looking at him. "I'm just--she could've said goodbye. I'd've let her go an' not got angry. Why didn't she just say goodbye?"
Rogue whirled the chair away from him, staring at the wall. "An' Avalanche an' Toad need ta just chill an' not go off an' do anythin' stupid. She ain't a traitor, no matter what any of ya say."
