Rogue was practically bouncing. She wasn't going to worry about anything today. It was her and Erik's day. No Brotherhood issues, no insane mothers or other family members, no Rachel. Nothing. Just her with Erik. And she meant to make the most of it

Erik smiled at Anna. He was feeling rather relaxed, actually. It was nice to be on vacation, certainly, even if most of the people here were going to try and have him arrested the minute the vacation was over.

And Anna...she was making him laugh, to be honest, with her childlike enthusiasm and her obvious enjoyment of their location. Which, if he were honest, was also going to worry him when he had time to think about it.

This is the sort of life Anna wants. After this, it will back into hiding and missions and she will not laugh so much.If this was all he could give her in the way of normalcy, for the rest of the time she chose to spend with him as his lover, then he was going to give her exactly what she wanted

Rogue grinned. "Kinda doubt it, Erik, but feel free to fix it as ya see fit."

She did a little twirl and grabbed his hand, tugging him out of the room and towards the elevator. Letting go as her power started. "Can we do Peter Pan's ride? Oh an' Snow White's scary ride?" At his look she giggled. "No really that's what its called. Snow White's Scary Adventure."

She couldn't help but be excited. It really didn't matter that they were here in Disney. They could be anywhere. She just wanted time alone with him. More than a few hours for some meal. Like it used to be before she joined up.

"An' you do know we gotta get a picture of you in Mouse Ears, right? I told Lorna I would." She laughed as the elevator doors opened, stepping inside and to the right away from the people already inside. Not wanting to start the day by having one of them clouding her head.

"We may do whatever you wish. However, if Snow White's ride is actually scary, I'll eat my hat." They took the elevator down to the lobby, then went outside to the monorail station. They waiting in the line, just like everyone else.

"Mouse ears? Really?" He winced. "What about something more dignified? Surely there is something, yes?" The train arrived, and they found seats in the cool, air-conditioned monorail.

Erik smiled. He leaned over. "I could make this go faster, you know," he said. He winked at her, and the train sped up just a little.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Ain't supposed to use powers." Rogue leaned forward and kissed him, hands wrapping in his shirt. She didn't pull away when her power started, drawing a little of him.

She could feel the monorail in an entirely different way. "Wow. There's a lot of metal 'round here." Rogue leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. Ignoring the looks they were recieving.

"You could always make the ride scarier, Erik. If'n ya wanted." She played with the end of his sleeve. "An' nope, gotta be Mouse Ears. Its tradition."

Rogue laughed, helping him up. "What that you totally tried to feel me up on a kiddie ride?"

She nearly purred and pressed herself up against him but stopped herself. There were children present. "Uh. Sorry. Make it up to ya, when we get back to the room," she promised, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. Pulling away with a groan.

"So. Where to next, hmm?"

"I was referring to my lack of balance. But feel free to make up to me whatever you wish." Erik looked with interest at the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride.

"Let's go on this one," he said impulsively. "I'll protect you from the giant squid."

Rogue laughed at his eagerness. "That works for me, Erik."

They got in line for the ride which was surprisingly long. "Did you ever read the book? It was a book right? I coulda sworn Momma read this an' talked about it with Oma."

She leaned against him, wrapping her arms around his waist. "I think she called it trite an' pathetic. Not that I ever give much merit to what she says." She looked up at him, ignoring the rather angry looks directed at them. "Well not everythin'."

"Your mother certainly has opinions," Erik said, and she hit him lightly in the stomach. "What, she does! And do you think this relationship with Sinister's assistant--do you think it's good for her?"

Erik waiting patiently in the line. This ride must be very exciting. It supposedly involved a submarine.

Rogue laughed and rose, pushing hair from her face. "Oh really?" she asked, pressing herself against him. "I'll have ta remember that."

She leaned up and kissed him. "How delightful." She giggled, pulling back. "I'm soundin' like you. Maybe I should lay off with the absorbin'."

"Now lets go see our men, sugah." Rogue grinned, offering him her arm.

Erik laughed. "You are so very accommodating. I knew I made a good choice with you." He led her to the ride, which was very entertaining. "This is much better than the sea monster," Erik informed her, as the ride traveled through the watery canals.

"Erik, anythin' is better than the sea monster." Rogue curled against him, laughing as the boat traveled through Tortuga. She sang along with the song, enthusiastically pointing out Captain Sparrow.

When they exited the ride, she was practically bouncing on her feet again. "The animal kingdom or another ride aroun' here?"

She grinned and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I'm really enjoyin' this, Erik. Havin' lots of fun."

"I'm glad, Anna." Erik pulled her in close and kissed her on the forehead. "I wanted you to have a good time." His voice became quiet and a touch moody. "Where would you like to go next?"
