Rogue was practically bouncing. She wasn't going to worry about anything today. It was her and Erik's day. No Brotherhood issues, no insane mothers or other family members, no Rachel. Nothing. Just her with Erik. And she meant to make the most of it

She nearly purred and pressed herself up against him but stopped herself. There were children present. "Uh. Sorry. Make it up to ya, when we get back to the room," she promised, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. Pulling away with a groan.
"So. Where to next, hmm?"

"Let's go on this one," he said impulsively. "I'll protect you from the giant squid."

They got in line for the ride which was surprisingly long. "Did you ever read the book? It was a book right? I coulda sworn Momma read this an' talked about it with Oma."
She leaned against him, wrapping her arms around his waist. "I think she called it trite an' pathetic. Not that I ever give much merit to what she says." She looked up at him, ignoring the rather angry looks directed at them. "Well not everythin'."

Erik waiting patiently in the line. This ride must be very exciting. It supposedly involved a submarine.

She giggled as they inched closer. "How dissappointed are ya gonna be if'n it ain't meetin' your expectations?" she asked, rubbing his arm.

Twenty-five minutes later, they were out of the ride. Erik was scowling. "That was horrible. We need another exciting ride that actually moves. That was on a lever. A set of levers. It barely went down, Anna." He was incensed. "Perhaps we should try something else. I must say, I agree with your mother. If the book is as boring as that ride was."

She pressed herself against him, still unable to stop giggling. "How about Belle's storytime? No. I was kiddin', Erik." She held up her hands, moving out of his range.
"Its a small world?" She grinned evilly. "See Xavier's dream put to song!"

Anna was better, but he was singularly unimpressed with Snow White's Scary Adventure ("not scary", Erik had informed her), though the ending of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride made him laugh. He hoped Toad decided to go on that ride.
Erik enjoyed Frontier Land, because there was a roller coaster. "Disney isn't much for the thrilling sorts of rides, is it?" He consulted his brochure. "We should have lunch. Then I wish to go to this animal theme park. That sounds much more exciting. Maybe we'll be chased by a lion."

"But yeah. That sounds like a plan. Do you wanna do somethin' quick an' easy for lunch?" she asked, looking at the different places they were passing.

There was a nice little cafe that seemed to have all sorts of options. Erik scanned the menu. "I am going to have a hotdog. If you tell anyone, I will do something appropriately vicious and benefiting my status as one of the most dangerous men in the world. I read this in Time Magazine." He gave her an imperious look. "If you are good, you may have an ice cream treat."
Erik smirked at her. Something about this vacation was making him feel rather childish.

She rolled her eyes theatrically. "I'm gonna have a hamburger, Mr. Vegetarian. If you're gonna have meat you might as well have the good stuff. Do ya even know whats in a hotdog?" She shuddered. "Beast tol' me once."

She grinned, and playfully edged her foot up his thigh. "I liked him."
