Remember back on August 17th when I posted about the upcoming release of Roxio's Popcorn 3? Well, it is here - it was released today.

Dave Zatz just pre-announced on the SlingCommunity.com forums that Sling Media will be releasing the 1.0 version of the Mac SlingPlayer, which has been in beta for a while.

Alex Raiano of TiVoBlog.com has created a Dashboard Widget for OS X which tracks the content of the top TiVo-related blogs: TiVoBlog, ZatzNotFunny (TiVo-related posts), TiVoLovers, Zeigen.com (TiVo-related posts), and DavisFreeberg.com (TiVo-related posts). It isn't TiVoToGo, yet, but TiVoToComeBack (publishing video TO the TiVo) is available in the recent 1.9.3 release for MacOS. It looks like it isn't complete, so it was disabled by default, but Dennis Wilkinson over at TiVoCommunity.com has discovered how to enable the feature.

TiVo snuck this out on April 25 and I just heard about it. TiVo Desktop for Mac v1.9.3 Updated April 25, 2006. This update provides a Universal binary that supports both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs.

So I didn't cover this yesterday, but I swung through the TiVo booth again today and took some more photos - including several of the screens of the new MacOS TiVo Desktop they are demonstrating in the booth. Yes, it exists, but it is pre-alpha at this point.
