White Crime played a really weird show in Worcester on Friday, bands were good, lots of people came, but lots of shitty people also came and were hyper-violent and a fight almost happened even. Got my art supplies that I required, spent a little time with Annie & Dan Sabatinelli. Annie is in terrible condition though, neckbrace, arm sling, and everything, so I let her go back to watching "Dexter" on the couch right after a trip to the craft store. Last night, Matt Zaccarino packed 17 of us into a rented van to watch Bone Zone play in Providence. It was a tight fit, but a lot of people stayed in Providence and made the trip back a lot easier. Printed Matter Fair in Northampton was a lot of fun, seeing a bunch of folks, trading things and meeting some new people. Shared a table with Pak, then watched "Spider Baby" with a group over at Media Mansion. Picked up a couple tapes I received in the mail there, then drove home in the rain around midnight. Ah yes, so the weekend festivals went fine, playing late in Greenfield on Saturday with Big Kids at the People's Pint was a lot of fun, was pleasantly surprised by them playing in Worcester the following Monday as well. This band called Songs for Moms came through town recently, really fun all-girl punk band from CA, jumped in a car with some folks the next day to see them again in Providence with Tiny Music and Shep & Me.
