Battlestar Galactica - My first impression

I saw the mini and the first thing I thought was "wow, these cylons are way cool, I'm so looking forward to this." Then it turns out they look like humans, and I felt cheated. I hate ploys to cut production costs and I'm accusing them of one ( Read more... )

Hurrah for marketing! I'm glad you're giving it another chance. I know nothing about the original series, remember enjoying the miniseries a lot (but remember little detail at this point), but I do love the characters, the darkness, the ambiguity, the nature of the conflicts that are being set up. You know, if it comes to that, I really prefer SF over everything else. It's just the military part that I don't like as much. But then, the only space series ever without military structures was Farscape. It's not really a common theme... ;).

Number Six, and it's not because she's hot (Starbuck is way hotter)

Oooh yes. Well said.

It's a good sign for me when I'm this interested in that many characters. True. I agree ( ... )
