Today we had to put Missy down. She started having spells yesterday where she'd start trembling and then fall down. We took her to the MSU vet hospital, even had her admitted over night late last night. She was discharged this afternoon with orders to see a cardiac specialist on Monday but within 30 minutes of being home her symptoms went down ( Read more... )

Words can't describe how happy I am that this week is over. The summer slow-down has hit my program at work and while it's nice to be able to clean out my desk, the computers, and work on my Microsoft Office Access certification, I'd really rather be outside enjoying the weather. Well, I'm obviously over the flu since my last post. That was not fun. Working at the Holt building has 'compromised my immune system' Thankfully I won't have anything more to do with that place after end of the month.
