so my groovy ex-roomie zengoddess had her baby on Thursday at 4:12pm. Hayden, her new little boy, was born 6 lbs. and 7 oz. 20 inches. She ended up having a c-section and mommy and baby are doing great. They leave the hospital (Piedmont *gasp*) tomorrow. I am loving every minute of being Auntie Karen. My father's service will be Friday at 4pm at Patterson & Son funeral home in Sandy Springs. It is on the same road that goes in front of Ruth's Chris on Roswell Road. he passed away this morning at 11am. i am still in shock/denial/whatever. The memorial service will be friday at 4pm. that seems an eternity away but there are people coming from far far away. emails, calls, messages, all welcome. i will not be at my apt much but i probably need dinner/coffee distractions this week. most of you didn't know ( Read more... )

Saturday morning he had a relatively minor heart attack. By the afternoon they had managed to start him on dialysis which he desperately needs. The machine is really finicky though and keeps getting clogged or stuck. It is very slow going ( Read more... )
