Summary: They arrived at the hotel, got into their room and got assigned work.
The bus pulled to a halt, jerking in process. Yuri squeezed his eyes and opened it, squinting from the light pouring through the window. Rubbing his eyes, he checked the landscape outside and it seemed like they have arrived at their hotel.
He was about to sit up straight when he felt a weight against his shoulders. Turning to his side, he found Yamada resting beside him with his eyes closed.
So close, too close to the point that he could count Yamada's eyelashes if he want to. He could feel him breathing steadily beside him.
Slowly, the students woke up one by one and the voice of their teacher came on.
"Everyone, please collect your items and wait by the lobby."
Gently, he moved so as to wake Yamada up. It worked. He stirred and got up, a blur look as he looked around stretching.
"We're here."
Yuri smiled at him, motioning him to get up and get their bags. He nodded and they filed out with Yuto and Keito follownig behind.
"Uwaa~"
"Sugoi na!"
They gathered at the hotel lobby as they waited for their teacher to settle the check-in and transport.
Hotel staffs came back and collected their luggages and bag, bringing them up to their respective rooms.
"Akai-kun?"
One by one, the hotel room cards were given out to the pairs and Yamada kept theirs.
"We're side by side!! Maybe we could crash each other's room!"
Yuto was practically bouncing after he peered at their room number and Yuri had to smile at him.
Yuto is definitely appealing to him more and more.
They entered their room, placing their luggage at the side and looked around.
The room had to single bed, separated by a small table. There was a balcony at the side and the view was awesome. Yamada pulled back the curtains and opened the door separating the room and the balcony.
Taking a deep breath, he stretched and smiled.
"Kimochi na~ Ne? Chinen-kun!"
He turned around, smiling at Yuri. He blushed and nodded shyly as he shuffled away to settle the luggage.
It was his first time sharing a room with someone else other than his brothers and he felt somewhat uneasy about it.
Pearing over at Yamada, he found him staring at the beds.
"Hmm.. Wouldn't it be better if we push the beds together?"
He flopped onto the one nearest to him and rolled on it.
"The space will be bigger ne.."
"Eh?!"
Yuri stared wide-eyed at Yamada and he felt his blush creeping back. Did he hear him wrongly?
"Ano.. it's just a suggestion. If you're.."
"Ii desu."
"Hontou?"
Yuri nodded and he watched as Yamada sprung up from the bed cheering.
"Yatta~"
He got off the bed and pulled Yuri over to help him. They moved out the table separating the beds and pushed both of them together.
Lying down on it, Yamada spread his arms wide and turned to Yuri who was beside him. He placed his hands behind his head, cushioning it and smiled. Laying there for a few minutes, Yuri could feel his heart beat increasing and when he couldn't stand it anymore, he sat up and broke the silence.
"Ano, we should unpack."
"Ah. Sou ka. I almost forgot. Lying there feels too right ne."
At that point, Yuri's heart beat increased even more. He held his hand to his chest and felt his heart beat.
"Why?"
His thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door and when he went to open it, he found Yuto beaming outside with Keito behind him. Apparently pulled over forcefully.
Peering inside, Yuto's eyes brightened up.
"Uwa!! You guys joined the beds!" He turned to Keito who sighed, trotting in after him.
Yuri went back to his luggage, trying to make himself busy as he attempt to hide his blush.
"Yuto? Yamete yo. Isn't it normal?"
"Eh? Normal? But.."
Before he could finish, Keito had cupped his hand over his mouth, dragging him away from a bewildered Yamada.
"Ne Yama-chan, we're just opposite so if you guys need anything, just say."
Smiling, Keito pulled the flailing Yuto out. They were about to reach the door when Yuto tore out of Keito's grip and turned to Yuri.
"Chii! Come over! We can share stories ne~"
"Eh? I can go over too?"
"Mochiron."
They both smiled at him and Yuri felt another warmth in his heart. They're accepting him into their circle. He's becoming their friend. The thought of that made him happy.
When they finished unpacking, they left their room and gathered in the lobby once again. Lunch was in the hotel's restaurant and the spread was awesome. It was sort of like a buffet style and so everyone had their fill as they chatted along.
When lunch time ended, they were gathered together again by their teacher.
"Sa, minna. Before I let you guys continue to play, we have some activities lined up for you."
A smirk revealed and the students start to mumble to each other.
"To be grateful of the comfortable stay and service..we have to show our gratitude desho?" A few of them nodded, confused as to what their teacher is trying to say. "So.. to show our appreciation, we're going to help clean!"
"Ehhhh!!!"
Whines and grumbles appeared from the crowd and it all came expected.
"Ma ma ma. If it's done well, a nice dinner will be prepared! And.. exciting adventures afterwards. Sore ja, ganbate ne!"
Sensei left and up came the staff of the hotel, providing them with all the cleaning materials available. Splitting into groups, they got assigned different tasks and they started work.
Yuri was placed with the group that were in-charge of cleaning the windows, along with Yuto while Yamada was placed in the group that cleans the courtyard from dry leaves. Keito went off somewhere with a bunch of students.
While cleaning, Yuri couldn't help but stare at Yamada as he clean the window unconsiously.
His thoughts wander.. to the times that they were together. Their conversations, the looks they shared. It was nice and Yuri liked the feeling of it. Especially when Yamada smiles to him. That smile was full of warmth and kindness. He felt himself attracted to it.. and attracted to him.
"Chii!"
Yuri blinked.
"What are you looking at?"
Yuto came up from behind, peering over his shoulders and out into the courtyard where a bunch of students were raking the leaves.
"Eh? Nande mo nai."
Hurriedly, he got off the stool and changed his position. Moving onwards to another window pane as he dragged Yuto along.
They worked hard in cleaning the place, making it more beautiful and sparkly than before.
Finally, evening came and they stopped their job, heading back to their rooms to clean up. A fresh bath and it's back to the restaurant.
As promised, there was a huge spread laid out for them. Delicious food smell wafting to them as they entered the room.
"Ittadakimasu!"
The bunch of them chorused before they dug in, enjoying the food that was prepared for them.
"Ahhh~ Onaka ga ippai!"
Yuto stretched himself and laid back on the tatami, cushioning his head with his arms.
They all ate more than usual that night and is was satisfying. Keito looked down at Yuto and lightly smack his forehead.
"Get up sleepyhead! Don't lie here."
Grinning sheepishly, Yuto got up from his position when Sensei appeared at the doorway.
