Settling down near the bonfire, Edward sat his prized lute upon his lap as he began play a few notes. There seemed to be quite a gathering here this evening for the party, enough people to ensure that even he wouldn't be bored. The Wutai landscape could barely be seen under the blanket of night but the splendorous beauty of the ink blue sky above did more than enough to add some character to this secretive forest gathering. Gazing up at the starlight sky with a sense of wonder and excitement, Edward noticed that this world didn’t possess two glowing moons. It was odd truth since Edward was come accustom to viewing a night sky that possesses two celestial silver entities but here on Gaia, no such phenomenon exists

Off in the distance, like a good creeper, Kuja was watching and listening to this individual play. It took a few plucks of the strings on the instrument to gain his attention, but once it was had it didn’t break. If not because he was remotely interested in performances of the artistic nature, the rest of the cast present have yet to amuse him. So he’ll be watching for now, at least until some other event draws his interest.

It actually took Edward a moment to notice that he was being watched for he was so absorbed with his practice. However, when he did notice the bard didn't allow his eyes to linger upon the man nearby. No, instead he simply smiled towards the silver-haired fellow and continued to play. It seems he may have won an admirer for the evening but Edward honestly didn't mind. He was just glad someone fancies his kind of music for Edward truly takes pride in his musical skills.

He was supposed to be working too, but it took only a few short moments before he was mingling within the crowds. He was still wrapped up warm because, hey, it was chilly out, but when he spotted the pretty girl with the flippy hair, he grinned.

"Selphie!" He remembered talking to her on the network in the past. "You rigged that up, then?" Nodding over to the sound system, Reno smiled at her.

Everything seemed to be going well so far. Balthier had done a wonderful job arranging and planning everything - though telling him that would probably cause his ego to swell.

Fran had spent much of the day cooking and preparing the food, but now she was showered, changed and enjoying the scenery, sat off to the side by herself. She cradled a glass of wine in her hand, sipping every so often.

Spotting the bunny ears, Rinoa thought she had seen her friend Mjrn at first, and she practically ran over in delight. She stopped as soon as she realised her mistake.

"Oh! Hey... Fran, right? Long time no see! How are you?"

Just a little surprised at being approached, Fran watched the girl for a moment before answering, head tilting to one side just a little. "Rinoa, isn't it?"

The girl from Garden with a dislike for Balthier if she remembered correctly.

Rinoa nodded. "Yep, that's right. You're Balthier's partner, aren't you? So you helped organise this party?"

Taxi duties done? Check. Prima Vista secure? Check. Party time? Check. Blank had done all the jobs he needed to do. He had flown people where they needed to be and now he was intent on enjoying himself. Free food, free alcohol, and maybe a few gil pouches to pilfer. All in all it was shaping up to be a fine night.

The Strahl didn't go unnoticed by the redhead either - not that it was easy to miss. He had never seen such a fine airship before, and that was really saying something considering how highly he viewed the Vista. "Woah~"

"She's a beauty, isn't she?" Balthier noticed Blank eying his airship and couldn't help but brag. The Strahl was, after all, far more majestic and likely faster than all the airships in Gaia. It was perfect.

Sipping his drink, the pirate smirked at the redhead. "Of course, she looks better in the sky."

*jumps in*

"Thanks for the lift, buddy." Zidane says as he walks back to Blank with a pair of drinks he'd swiped while doing some quick party exploration.

He looks over at Balthier, then at the ship Blank seemed to be staring at. "That yours?"

"Anytime, bro," Blank murmured, taking his drink from Zidane, without once taking his eyes off the airship. He took a long swig of his drink, finally breaking his gaze away from the airship to look at Balthier. More accurately look up at Balthier. Why were most these Skypeople so tall?

"She's beautiful. You must be proud of her." He took another sip, rubbing at the back of his neck. "How does she run? What kinds of speeds can she reach?"

Rinoa wanted to make it quite clear that she was only here for the sake of her friends, not for Balthier. Ignoring him pointedly, she poured herself a drink and looked around for someone who wasn't Balthier to talk to.

Pretty girl standing alone alert! And look, here's Zidane walking up and offering her a smile.

"Hey, I don't think we've met. I'm Zidane," there's that winning smile of his, his tail swinging back and forth lazily behind him.

Rinoa turned, her eyes widening. "Zidane? Oh! That's weird, I didn't expect to meet you in person like this. At least this is less creepy than last time, huh?" She scrunched up her face in distaste at the memory. "So, is Dagger with you?"

Brain-fart. Eesh. Luckiily zidane rolls with my screwups!

Zidane grinned at her, nodding his head. "I figured reintroductions would make it seem a little less...nuts," he said, taking a sip of his drink.

"No, she had a...meeting to go to." He wasn't sure about how public the summoner thing was, so he figured it was best to not talk about it.
