Taxi duties done? Check. Prima Vista secure? Check. Party time? Check. Blank had done all the jobs he needed to do. He had flown people where they needed to be and now he was intent on enjoying himself. Free food, free alcohol, and maybe a few gil pouches to pilfer. All in all it was shaping up to be a fine night.

The Strahl didn't go unnoticed by the redhead either - not that it was easy to miss. He had never seen such a fine airship before, and that was really saying something considering how highly he viewed the Vista. "Woah~"

"She's a beauty, isn't she?" Balthier noticed Blank eying his airship and couldn't help but brag. The Strahl was, after all, far more majestic and likely faster than all the airships in Gaia. It was perfect.

Sipping his drink, the pirate smirked at the redhead. "Of course, she looks better in the sky."

"Thanks for the lift, buddy." Zidane says as he walks back to Blank with a pair of drinks he'd swiped while doing some quick party exploration.

He looks over at Balthier, then at the ship Blank seemed to be staring at. "That yours?"

"Anytime, bro," Blank murmured, taking his drink from Zidane, without once taking his eyes off the airship. He took a long swig of his drink, finally breaking his gaze away from the airship to look at Balthier. More accurately look up at Balthier. Why were most these Skypeople so tall?

"She's beautiful. You must be proud of her." He took another sip, rubbing at the back of his neck. "How does she run? What kinds of speeds can she reach?"

"That she is," he murmured to Zidane. Balthier was actually pretty average in height for an Ivalician man. Six foot was quite normal. Of course, natives to Gaia were all really small. It was creepy, actually. Like being in a world full of Nu Mou or moogles.

"Quite proud indeed." Emptying his glass and handing it to someone taking glasses back to the table, Balthier crossed his arms. "She runs on a sky stone; its native to Ivalice, my world." He also reeled off the speeds he'd taken her to, which were insanely fast, thanks to the airship being so sleek and powered by modified technology.

"She's real nice looking," Zidane said with a nod of his head, letting Blank field the technical questions. It wasn't the best Airship he'd ever seen, just the second best, but still very nice.

"If there aren't any skystones here, what are you using to make her fly?" It seemed an obvious question.

Blank gave a low whistle as Balthier mentioned speeds. No one else stood a chance in the airship race if he was entering. At least no one from Gaia. But Zidane's question caught his attention. It was certainly valid.

"Good point... if there aren't skystones here, how does she run? And if you have one... what happens if it gets damaged?"

"Sky stones are pretty much indestructable, and the one I have is modified at that. She shan't have issues with fuel at any point in my lifetime." Balthier shook his head slightly, casting a glance over his airship.

No, the problems he usually had were with the fuel actually getting to the glossair rings, which made for some interesting landings on rare occasions, but he usually knew what to do about it, and it was part of her charm now. "The modifications to the sky stone allow her to fly in areas of Ivalice that were known as Jagd. The are parts of the world where neither airship nor sea ship could sail." Well, you could try to sail a boat there, but you'd usually end up dead.
