Denzel had lived in a lot of houses in his short life. His home above the plate in Sector 7, the house his parents were supposed to move into with him in Sector 5 - though he hadn't lived there. Ruvie's house with it's floral wallpaper and small back garden with good soil, the slums - even that wasn't really a house, more taking shelter where it could be found and of course the bar in Edge - that had been his favourite so far.

This house was really nice too. It was pretty and he could just picture how great it would look once they were settled in and made it homely. But, he couldn't settle in until he had explored every single room. Running in and out of rooms, with a laugh. "This place is the best!"

Marlene was super excited too. New things always did excite her, but it was the fact that they had their own place now, and that they could be a family again and start anew here until they could find a way back to their world. It wasn't too bad to settle in for now, right? They had friends here, and while it wasn't exactly home, they had to make the best of it.

Marlene had explored a few rooms, and she came back with a smile on her face. "This place is great!"

"...I'm guessing it's great," Cloud murmured with a small laugh, sitting beside Tifa and resting his arm around her shoulders. "It's nice to see them so happy..." He just wished Shelke was here to enjoy it with them. He knew she wanted to travel with Nanaki and Aerith but he was still unsure about everything the flower girl had said and how well Nanaki could keep an eye on the world-naive ex-Tsviet with his health in such poor condition. He was worried Shelke might get hurt, even if she was an adult inside. She was still a child on the outside and there were bad people in every world.

Using Tifa's hand around her cup of tea, he lifted it to his own mouth and sipped it. "You want me to make dinner?" Now that would be a sight. Cloud couldn't cook anything that wasn't made over a campfire.

Tifa gave Cloud a get-your-own-tea look when he had the cheek to drink from her cup, but she didn't mind really.

"It is pretty great," she agreed. "And you making dinner? Even better." She looked over at Marlene and Denzel. "Would you two like to help Cloud make dinner? I'm sure he'd burn it if he tried to do it alone..."

And she'd have to supervise, obviously. But she might take a break and enjoy her tea first, just to see how they got on by themselves for a while.
