Alabamians are very out of touch with the rest of the country when it comes to Bush. I saw a poll on Fox 6 the other day and it said that 50something percent of adults in this state approve of Bush's handling of the war. LOLZZ

I consider myself a conservative, Christian democrat and I'll happily tell anyone that I didn't vote for that goob in 2000 or in 2004.

Kudos to you, sir, for realizing that it was a bad decision and owning up to it. I think a lot of people who voted for Bush feel much the same way. I know the polls seem to reflect the opposite, but I'm of the opinion that most Bush voters are still spouting the party line simply because they don't want to cop to making a mistake. If more of them had had the spine to admit they'd goofed, I think we'd have seen a lot more grassroots resistance to Bush and his policies at the end of his first term.

it is so sad that there are people out there that feel the need to be loyal to their leader, to the point where they have to "attack" (verbally or physically) their fellow citizens
and also that people think that women and people of a different race will worse then Bush it is possible, but its also entirely possible for a white male to royally screw up the country too

The fact that so many people in this country equate disagreement with treason is unamerican. The fact that so many people in this country feel that we must agree with the Commander in Chief because he is the iconic embodiment of our country is disgusting
