I recently got into listening to podcast. I've never been one of those people who could have earphones while walking listening to whatever. I don't like the feeling of not knowing when a car (or even a bike) might suddenly speed by without any warning. So I never got into the habit of listening to music/radio/whatever in public

I have also fallen into podcasts! I listen to them all the time; they really help when I'm working around the house or driving (too hot to walk anywhere here, alas).

Current favorite non-fiction: Someone Knows Something (I'm halfway through the second series) and My Favorite Murder.

Favorite fictional podcasts: The Magnus Archives (LOVE IT SO MUCH), The Bright Sessions.

I hope you enjoy Serial: it's really really intense.

Oooh, yes, listening while doing chores. I used to take laptop into the kitchen but podcasts are so much better. :DD

I've added first eps of all the podcasts you recommended! Depending on the intensity (depending on how freaked I get...), I might drop a true crime podcast though! ahahaha
