Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I did some Google-fu on IR:TNP because a friend said she had, and couldn't find anything. The first things that came up were my last two lj posts on the subject, along with some links about the RP, and lots of info on the DNA material called IR tnp. I cruised through the various mentions, and came on an lj ( Read more... )

If you ask me it's just some sad little person who gets off on the gutter end of life. They don't even know what they're talking about - they're probably not even a fan! Jules shouldn't take it seriously.

I agree, Ellie, especially after looking at this person's forums. She's exactly what you say. And Jules isn't taking it seriously, though she did say it gave her a turn.

However, the more people who report the flame as abuse (which it is!), the more likely it will be that ff.net's dinosaur-like brain will notice and remove it - and possibly it's author as well.

Abuse report sent. I even clicked on her "name" to see if she is really like that. It sure looks like she is. I hope she is permanently banned from the site - but I'm not holding my breath.

Even if she were, she'd come back with another name. Maybe Vanilla-flavored-whore or something...

I feel like popping into her forums and saying, "Pffft. Fifth-rate Flame Rising with none of his class. Not worth bothering with. Ignore the troll." What do you think she'd do then?

She'd probably locate one or more of your stories and write the same foul-mouthed flaming review there that she did on Jules' story. Then lie and say she doesn't care what you think of her.

Ah, but I've already added her to my filters. So any review she left would just disappear into the ether. Whether or not she cared what I said about her... well, she'd claim that anyway.
