So, yesterday after work, I drove to the Northgate P&R with Alicia & Braden and met Carla who had Ari & Dorian, also meeting up with Ted, Tash and Taz and we all boarded the bus for all of the kids’ first bus ride. Saturday, I rode in the semi finals, though I tried to sprain my left ankle in the saddle when I was warming up Bea up before the rapier tourney. While I wasn't timid, I was a little more conscious about my foot placing during the rapier tourney, but came away feeling I did fight well and found the Grr that needs to be in the field with me. Post Crown - Might not have had the ratios that my mind wanted in the tournaments, but pretty forgiving to myself since I have managed to participate in 2 or 3 events total per year for the last 3 or so.
