I've eaten too much fat over the last couple of days, and my belly is aching horribly. I decided to have a Traditional Dutch Food cooking spree and unfortunately nearly every recipe begins: "Melt 50g butter. Fry the onions."

Feeling much better now, thankfully. In fact the whole house has been vomit free for several days! Yay!

I sweep the kitchen floor, clear the cobwebs from the corners of the hallway, fold the laundry, and am unable to stop thinking about the lj mess. That I can read a hundred positive comments from fandom, and then one dismissive one about 'a few wierdos who read/write fanfic' will make my blood boil. I'd just written a lovely rant about how 6 Apart make me wish I had a well reasoned and articulate arguement along the lines of this one but all I can do is claw at the air, snarling "Wankers!
