I am an Up And Coming Seamstress.
And I have the masquerade award ribbon to prove it.
I'm also the crowd favorite for performance, though there isn't a ribbon for that (funny, just like bardic. I'm used to it).
Needless to say, Arisia was awesome. I don't know if I'll do the masquerade again next year, though, because how the hell do I top that?

Oh, it is definitely holiday time.

Mine started off covered in blood.
No, literally.
I'm told there was surgical glue eventually involved.
She'll be back at school tomorrow. Maybe now she'll listen when I tell her to slow down.
Maybe. For a day or two.

Things started on Friday, which was our actual anniversary. I made a fancy dinner featuring wild sockeye salmon and a fresh-baked rhubarb and red fruit pie.
