Two things at far too early an hour.

#1: While wandering through school websites looking for official transcripts, I found out that I shall not be able to get into MyWisc after...well, my birthday. Or the day before it, whatever.

But more importantly (yeah, my priorities are in wonderful shape, why do you ask?) at the UWSP site I found this:

So.. umm... do they have vouchers for Jitterbugs? Or whoever's hosting the SEA Jam? Or do we just send you a check with our best wishes? ;) It may not cover it all, but it'd definitely subsidize much of the cost..

Also, I'm officially in Lindy classes (as of this Friday) and have just realized that my most comfy shoes will not do as they have black soles :( Advice for non-marking shoes? (I don't think i have an inclination to get my shoes sueded as this point as I have a grand total of three pairs of shoes) Or are sneakers fine? (I'd like to see her expression if i wore my taps *g*)

yay! sandy's in lindy classes! :D uh...if their only requirement was for the shoes to be non marking, sneakers should be fine. they might require that the sneakers are clean (you weren't out in the snow in them), but otherwise, yeah. you mightn't spin very well, but you're not going to be doing much of that in beginner lindy anyway. xD ( ... )

LOL. I have no idea what *you*'re so happy about (a) We'll see how much I keep up with them :$ And I DO want to see her face if i turn up in taps, but since I don't want to annoy anyone my first day, i might just wear my (actually quite dirty) sneakers. Umm, how clean is clean? I have sorta new keds that I need to break in before dancing in as an alternative.

And heh, I'm sure you'll make it, pick a class on a day that you don't have to teach or something (one of your 'weekends'?)

Man, that studio photo is way overdue, I *already* have lines and gray hair :)

I blame temporary insanity. ;) And *looks at icon*, the bus I was on was passing the gay district of the city and there was this (clothes?) store named "Out of the Closet" with a large cardboard cutout of Spock in the window. amusing.
