Two things at far too early an hour.
#1: While wandering through school websites looking for official transcripts, I found out that I shall not be able to get into MyWisc after...well, my birthday. Or the day before it, whatever.
But more importantly (yeah, my priorities are in wonderful shape, why do you ask?) at the UWSP site I found
this:

they're usually worried about their floors, and the ballroom club rule was that you weren't walking through the rain and snow and salt immediately before coming, so if it was inclement out you had to bring extra shoes or wear a different pair to tromp through the wet. i think as long as you don't leave stuff on the floor they're happy. you might want to check with them though.
there aren't actually any of those (days i don't work) anymore, and as i said, my schedule is about to resemble scrambled eggs. i'm thinking seriously about quitting, actually, except that i hate to leave them in the lurch. what's really difficult is that things shifted so that i only work when everyone else has got off work, which might soon be a problem, and dance classes are either in the middle of the day or during a time i work and am likely to still work. basically i haven't had a life since this schedule settled in. *mutters* i was especially pissed off last saturday because the wretched client decided to skip class without telling me, and hence i couldn't meet up with yaj but didn't get anything accomplished either. i was quite mad.
and i don't? xD

And okies, sounds good to me. Unless it rains, i'm home free. It says non-marking and tennis shoes are okay, but i don't have tennis shoes...
Yee, that's confusing. You should ask for overtime/night pay or something *grins*
Well, that's the point, it's horrendously overdue and we all need makeovers :) Is anyone coming home for Christmas though? Cheese? Ez?

technically sneakers have marking soles, most of them anyway, but you aren't likely to be turning any fast corners or anything so i doubt it'll be an issue. i usually don't have problems wearing sneakers places unless it's a squash court.
they didn't even let me have the pay for the class that didn't take place. which is making me mad. yeah i'm not really working for the money, but why should my pay be docked because my students were irresponsible? if i were working for the money i could have been counting on those few dollars to eat or something.
lol a makeover would be nice. and i didn't mean this christmas necessarily. and ez is permanently at home now, i think? she's got a job and everything.

And buh. Well, we'll see what happens. I think the black-soled ones are a no-no so that's out and I don't have many other options so I'll have to go for it.
*Hugs* that's too bad. Maybe they should include that clause in the class contract? That they pay the fees if they don't cancel before say, 24 hours. It's a pretty common thing.
Oh I see, didn't know that, she's all mastered and everything. mmm.

there isn't a contract. >< which is kind of half the problem. i really don't have any rights here, which is irritating.
she's all mastered and everything
there're a lot of things i could say about that statement...but i won't. xD
