[Luckily, Fate is an expert at speaking kid now! It's also pretty darn hard to say no to a face like that.]

[The worst part wasn't the cold. Not really. It was the fact Feferi kept flickering from troll body to human body. It was impossible to predict and control and it was jarring. But she said she'd get to Karkat's house, and cutting through the park was the fastest way. It's hard not to notice horns popping off and on...]

[When Fate notices Feferi passing through, it's hard not to see that something is wrong with her. Frowning, she approaches, eyebrows raising a little as she notices the flickering alien features.] Hey... are you okay?

[Silly question, she knows, but she's not sure if it hurts or not, shifting between appearances like that.]

I - I'm okay. It doesn't really hurt too much. It's just confusing and annoying. It makes it kind of hard to see, too...this is normally the fastest way to my friend's house, but...

[And it hurts some, yes, but she's not going to let on. It's mostly the horns and fins popping off and on that hurts.]

[Signless is just handing off a blanket when Feferi catches his eye as well. He'd know troll horns anywhere. He wastes no time hurrying to catch up to Fate, his expression bright.]

[She discovered shortly after the power began to flicker that one of the children had stockpiled food, little stick and other useful things. She had piled as much of it in a basket as possible and tugged on the thickest coat and scarf she could find in the closet]

...Dolorosa probably doesn't have much, she just got here...[Don't mind the woman closing the door of her house while jostling a basket.]

[She flushes and flashes him a smile. The gloves make her set the basket down and pull them on, wiggling her fingers to get an idea of how restricting they are.] It's nice to meet you, Miss Fate. [She gets a little wave before Disciple takes back up her basket] Have you given out many things yet?

[Eridan was getting to be on his way to Karkat's house when he heard a knock at the door. He rushed down stairs to answer, wearing a blanket as a cape, a jacket, and the scarf he got from Kanaya. it wasn't the nicest thing to look at, but it kept him warm. He's bundled up, but still very obvious he was a troll.]

[Fate, having run into Feferi earlier, wasn't surprised by Eridan's appearance at all. Or at least, if she was, it didn't show at all.]

Hello. Do you or your family need any supplies to help you through the power outages?

We have blankets, food and clothing to spare. [Signless gives Eridan a big, warm smile. If he's seen Karkat's human body he'll probably notice a lot of physical similarities between them.

Except, you know, Signless knows how to smile.]

[Eridan can't help but smile back. Whoever these two were, they seemed incredibly nice and caring.]

I could use some! Was goin' to my friends an' I don't want to be the douche who's showin' up all empty handed only havin' supplies for myself. Wouldn't be right a' me...Especially if you're havin' somethin' warm to drink. I know a few people there who could be usin' a hot chocolate right about now.

[Including himself, of course...Besides, he wants to make blanket forts when he gets there. The chilling winds blow through, Eridan's troll body flickers back to human for a short moment, causing him to wrap the blanket around him as tight as he could.]

[ A huge warrior in armor opens the door, helmet on, and looking rather menacing. He looks at Fate mildly, and also to Signless ]

Yes? [ His voice is a bit at odds with his brutal appearance, in gray armor that lacks all marking, and heavily armed. Almost... gentle. ]

[Signless has seen his share of intimidating folks in his time. Garviel has nothing on the Imperial Drones he and his group have had to hide from.

Most likely, yes. While I am immune to this level of cold, my family is not so lucky.
